Carolyn Stiles

Carolyn joined Thom Greenlaw and Creative Independents in 2021 to provide support for Leadership Searches and serve as project manager for various engagements. For the last 17 years, Carolyn has consulted with independent schools assessing their admission, communication, development, and marketing practices. She brings valuable insight and experience to understanding an independent school senior leadership team. 

Prior to Creative Independents, Carolyn consulted with Connor Associates, an independent school strategic marketing firm. Carolyn served as the Director of Development and Community Relations at Hillbrook School (K-8) in Los Gatos, CA; Senior Development Officer at The Children’s Hospital Foundation in Denver, CO; Associate Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations at Lake Forest Country Day School in Lake Forest, IL; and Media Supervisor with Leo Burnett Company/Starcom Worldwide in Chicago. Carolyn currently lives in Michigan with her husband and three children. She is an active member of her community serving on the Board Of Directors of the Mattawan Public Education Foundation and the Bronson Healthcare Foundation.
